Having clinical experience in micro, macro and mezzo social work enables Sharon Miles to offer effective supervision with complete confidence. Having worked in outpatient, individualized and psychological care, Sharon has experience in providing psychotherapy for a number of mental health disorders and is dedicated to providing a neutral ground to individuals seeking clinical social work supervision. Graduate level social workers seeking supervision hours can attend individual or group supervision knowing they will be supported and encouraged every step of the way. Specialty areas are: professional women, cultural and ethnic issues, adolescents and young adults. Clinicians have advanced training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI).
Milestone is excited to announce they are a part of the ever-growing practice of teletherapy. Setup is easy and participants are able to join their therapy/supervision session via computer, laptop or smartphone from a confidential location.
Children's services contributed greatly to establishing the Milestone brand. Having worked at Residential Treatment Centers, foster placements and in schools, Mrs. Miles has promised that children will always have a safe place at Milestone Counseling. Individual therapy, play therapy and CANS assessments are included in children's services.
